History

The Story

In 1996-97 a small group of friends and American car owners here in Gisborne would meet every other month on a Sunday. Trips were organized to local locations. These events were casual, family orientated and viewed as high in value by those who attended. This formula has led to the formation of the Gisborne American Car Club. Towards the end of 2001 the idea of a more formal and structured club was discussed. On the 15th January 2002 the club became an incorporated society. It is hoped that this progression will lead to long term stability and success.
